Alhamdulillahi Rabbil ’Alamin.
Today marks a significant milestone in the history of our family as we have formally received the Deed of Assignment in respect of the Matchco Property following the successful distribution of the estate in strict compliance with the injunctions of Islamic law (Shari’ah).
Indeed, “What Allah cannot do, does not exist.”
This achievement is a clear manifestation of the limitless mercy, wisdom and perfect decree of Allah (SWT). After years of patience, perseverance and unwavering faith, Allah, in His infinite mercy, has brought this process to a successful conclusion. We give Him all the glory and praise for preserving our lives and granting us the privilege of witnessing this memorable day. To Him alone belongs all honour, power and dominion.
On behalf of the beneficiaries, we wish to express our profound appreciation to The Balogun Alanamu of Ilorin Emirate, Dr. Usman Abubakar Akanbi-Jos, who ably chaired the Estate Distribution Committee. We are equally indebted to Honourable Justice S. O. Mohammed, former Grand Khadi, whose exceptional wisdom, deep knowledge of Islamic jurisprudence, fairness, integrity and unwavering commitment to justice ensured that this distribution was carried out in accordance with the principles laid down by Allah (SWT).
Our sincere gratitude also goes to every member of the Estate Distribution Committee for their diligence, patience and selfless service. We deeply appreciate all members of the Gambari family, our legal advisers, friends, well-wishers and everyone who stood with us throughout this long and sometimes difficult journey. Whether through wise counsel, prayers, encouragement or active support, your contributions played an invaluable role in bringing this process to a successful conclusion.
We pray that Allah (SWT) rewards each and every one of you abundantly, increases you in knowledge, honour, good health and barakah, accepts your good deeds and grants you Al-Jannatul Firdaus. Ameen.
As we celebrate this remarkable achievement, we also pause to remember with love and prayers our beloved mothers, brothers, sisters and other family members who returned to Allah before witnessing this day and without receiving the portions that Allah (SWT) had ordained for them. We pray that Allah forgives their shortcomings, enlarges and illuminates their graves, grants them His boundless mercy and admits them into Al-Jannatul Firdaus. May their souls continue to rest in perfect peace. Ameen.
On a deeply personal note, my heart overflows with gratitude to Allah (SWT) that my beloved mother is alive today to receive the rightful entitlement that Allah has bestowed upon her. This is one of the greatest blessings of this journey, and I pray that Allah grants her many more years in good health, happiness, sound iman and abundant barakah. Ameen.
As we turn this page, we pray that this accomplishment strengthens the bonds of love, unity and understanding within our family. May Allah make this inheritance a source of blessings, peace and prosperity, and never a cause of discord. May He continue to guide us to uphold justice, preserve family ties and remain steadfast upon His guidance.
Once again, we return all praise and gratitude to Allah (SWT), without Whose mercy none of this would have been possible.
